videocommentary

The videocommentary series commissions artists who have contributed to the videocan catalogue to discuss their work while watching it. A guest commentator is also invited to watch alongside the artists to offer their own perspectives.

This series is designed to:

  • Give artists a chance to break down a past work with the help of video

  • Reflect upon how a past work is situated within their current practice and thinking

  • Bring different artists together under the context of talking about art and performance

All commentary episodes are housed within the catalogue alongside the original archival video.
