videocommentary
The videocommentary series commissions artists who have contributed to the videocan catalogue to discuss their work while watching it. A guest commentator is also invited to watch alongside the artists to offer their own perspectives.
This series is designed to:
Give artists a chance to break down a past work with the help of video
Reflect upon how a past work is situated within their current practice and thinking
Bring different artists together under the context of talking about art and performance
All commentary episodes are housed within the catalogue alongside the original archival video.
