Submission Policy Overview

  • by submitting a video you consent to videocan

    • 1) retaining a copy on a hard drive,

    • 2) uploading a copy to our private Vimeo, and

    • 3) making that Vimeo copy available through our catalogue (we won’t share it anywhere else)

  • videocan will not disseminate or share your videos in any other way than those described above, though we will with your permission maybe share a screenshot on our Instagram

Submission Requirements

  • the archival video includes the ENTIRE performance

  • the video file is either a MP4, MOV, WMV, AVI, and FLV [for more information on Vimeo’s recommended formats, click here]

  • resolution quality may vary—be not ashamed should you have filmed in less than 4K

  • upload video to WeTransfer or Dropbox, or, if the video is already on a Vimeo or YouTube account, make the video downloadable
